The planer is a 20” Grizzly G0454 with a 5hp motor and a spiral cutter head. It can cut solid wood up to 8” thick and 20” wide.
This planer is already a fantastic piece of equipment, but the spiral cutter head is an add-on that takes it to the next level. The 120 blade cutter leaves your material smooth and ready for fine-grit sanding. It also nearly eliminates gouging and tear out, making sure your material looks better coming out than it did going in. If you’ve got material to plane, whether it’s expensive, rich walnut, hard, strong Cherry, or simple, rough pine, this tool will do the job.
